This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse fabrication projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and mechanical fabrication skills. Your expertise will contribute directly to the successful completion of construction and manufacturing projects, ensuring precision and durability in every piece you produce.
Responsibilities:
Support ASI projects by assembling, fabrication, welding, wiring, testing the customized machines produced by ASI. Working with metalized tubing, PVC, CPVC, carbon steel, and stainless-steel pipe spools as well as associated components to ensure proper functioning systems. Quality Control measurements and sign off for colleagues resulting work in accordance with project requirements and documentation. Mechanical modifications and documentation of modifications in as-built recorded documentation. Maintain clean work area, positive attitude, good working relationships with peers, and appropriate working pace for task completion. Requirements Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams accurately. Experience working with sheet metal fabrication, structural steel, and other metal materials. Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise fabrication. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate power tools safely in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to welding operations and construction site activities. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for assembly or fabrication tasks. Prior experience in a fabrication shop environment or mechanical fabrication setting is highly desirable. $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
