Overview:
We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to fabricate and weld components using a variety of metals, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum. This role involves working from blueprints and weld symbols to produce high-quality welds that meet structural and cosmetic standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and other metals according to specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and basic weld symbolsSet up welding equipment, select proper filler materials, and adjust settings as neededPrepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and fitting componentsInspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and appearance standardsPerform minor weld repairs or rework as requiredMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and company quality standardsCollaborate with fabrication, machining, and assembly teams as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience with MIG and TIG weldingExperience welding stainless steel required; experience with aluminum and carbon steel preferredAbility to read blueprints and work instructionsFamiliarity with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, gauges)Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to stand, bend, lift, and work in a shop environment
Preferred Skills:
