Full Job Description Welder:
Standard Sheet Metal, a locally owned and operated metal fabricator, in business for over 83 years, is seeking a full time experienced welder to join its production team. Standard Sheet Metal Benefits! Our company offers health benefits that are unmatched anywhere in the industry. Seven paid holidays Clean, well lit, safe, laid back and relaxed work environment Overtime is not mandatory but available Flexible work shifts Pay is calculated at an hourly rate and is determined based on skill and ability.
Shift:
We are hiring for 2nd shift. 2nd shift is 3:30pm - 2:00am, Monday - Thursday. Overtime available.
Ideal candidates would:
Be quality oriented. Have a strong work ethic. Have the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position. Have the ability to consistently be at work and on time. Have good communication skills. Qualifications and experience in the following areas is a plus: Highly skilled prototype welding ability. Layout and setup capabilities. The ability to verify the quality of your own work. Possess extensive ablilty to read prints. Must have 5 years of welding experience to apply Machines & technologies you'll use: MIG Welder
