The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications and blueprints. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work with various power tools, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on construction sites. If you are passionate about welding and have experience in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. Duties Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Fabricate metal components using various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Operate power tools such as grinders, saws, and drills for cutting and shaping materials. Utilize measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in fabrication. Perform welding tasks on-site using cranes or rigs as necessary for positioning materials. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience as a Welder in a construction or manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with various welding techniques and equipment is essential. Experience with reading blueprints and technical drawings is required. Ability to operate cranes or rigging equipment is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
