6:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday QPS Employment Group is seeking an experienced TIG Welder with expertise in GTAW welding of stainless steel and nickel alloys. The ideal candidate will have experience in process piping and/or sheet metal fabrication and be able to pass an ASME Section IX 6G weld test. Proficiency in reading shop blueprints is required, and experience with P&ID drawings is preferred. This is a potential to hire opportunity in South Beloit, IL. TIG Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and nickel alloy components
  • Fabricate process piping and/or sheet metal systems
  • Interpret and work from shop blueprints and technical drawings
  • Maintain quality standards in accordance with ASME Section IX specifications
  • Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to meet production goals
TIG Welder Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of TIG welding experience required
  • Ability to pass ASME Section IX 6G qualification testing
  • Strong understanding of shop drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience with process piping or sheet metal fabrication
  • Familiarity with P&ID drawings is a plus
