Welder's Needed 1st & 2nd Shift Pay- $20-24/hr! Job Description We are seeking a skilled welder to perform Flux Core Welding on mild steel for the construction of barges. The role involves using MIG and TIG welding techniques, interpreting blueprints, and collaborating with a team under the guidance of a supervisor. Responsibilities Perform Flux Core, MIG, and TIG welding on mild steel. Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Work collaboratively within a team environment under supervision. Engage in fabrication and fitting tasks. Handle welding of stainless, carbon, and structural steel. Essential Skills Proficient in Flux Core, MIG, and TIG welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with fabrication and fitting tasks. Knowledge of welding stainless, carbon, and structural steel. Work Environment This role requires working in an outdoor environment that can be very hot. The job necessitates wearing steel-toed ankle-high leather boots, long sleeves, and pants. Note that contact lenses are not permitted due to smoke exposure from welding.

Work is scheduled in shifts:

1st shift is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and 2nd shift is Monday through Friday, 3:15 PM to 12:45 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland City, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $21.30/hr.
