Job Description
About the Role As a Production Welder, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process by executing high-quality welds to meet production targets. You will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring structural integrity, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-output work environment. Responsibilities Execute precise welds on flat, curved, and vertical surfaces, including overhead positions. Configure welding equipment by adjusting gas, voltage, amperage, and wire speed settings. Prepare raw materials and components for assembly, including filing, grinding, and removing burrs or scale. Perform quality inspections by comparing finished work against templates and specifications to ensure conformance. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and perform routine equipment adjustments to ensure operational uptime. Coordinate with team members and material handling equipment to move parts and assemblies efficiently. Qualifications Required Skills Proficiency in using various pneumatic power tools and handheld equipment. Ability to accurately read and interpret tape measures and blueprints. Strong physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Capacity to follow detailed verbal and written manufacturing instructions. Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and operational alertness. Preferred Skills Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial welding environment. Aptitude for identifying process improvements to reduce material waste and scrap. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining production quality.
