Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking reliable MIG Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have, minimum 6 months experience, in MIG Welding and have some experience reading basic blueprints / weld symbols. This role requires strong attention to quality of welds, checking own work, completing production or scrap logs, and use of electronics. Responsibilities Select / adjust machine settings as needed. Perform welding tasks using various methods and techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding processes. Assess/use fixtures or jigs in welding process. Operate power tools, hand tools, and machinery safely and efficiently. Ensure all work complies with standards for safety and quality. Collaborate with team members on spec variance to meet project requirements and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment and tools are properly stored after use. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as necessary. No Overhead welding. Weld on clean steel. Qualifications Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques. Familiarity with blueprint reading and technical specifications. Knowledge of safety standards relevant to the welding industry. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, various measuring tools and welding equipment. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
