Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30
PM Employment Status:
Full-Time Compensation:
Up to $25 per hour, determined by your specific welding skills and professional background.
Workload:
Expect a standard 40 to 45-hour work week with minimal requirements for weekend availability. About the Position Our expanding manufacturing facility is looking for a skilled MIG Welder to assist in the creation of steel assemblies and components. This role involves active production welding, where you will utilize your expertise to interpret technical prints, ensure uniform weld quality, and operate autonomously while upholding our rigorous safety and performance benchmarks. Core Duties Execute MIG welding tasks on various steel assemblies and components. Analyze and translate technical drawings, blueprints, and specific welding requirements. Prepare and manage welding machinery to ensure efficient production output. Verify that all finished welds meet our high standards for quality and uniformity. Utilize precision instruments such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures to ensure accuracy. Contribute to the fabrication process to help the team meet production goals. Help maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace for the entire team. Operate with minimal supervision to ensure daily production targets are achieved. Support a culture of safety by strictly adhering to all manufacturing protocols and guidelines. Required Skills and Experience Practical MIG welding background or a certificate from an accredited trade school. Proven history of working with steel materials. Proficiency in understanding and applying blueprint specifications. Capability to successfully complete a practical MIG steel welding assessment. Familiarity with standard inspection and measurement tools. Demonstrated reliability in attendance and the ability to manage tasks independently. A strong commitment to excellence in workmanship to ensure superior weld quality.
