About the Role We are looking for a skilled Lead Metal Fabricator and MIG Welder to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-precision welds and custom fabrication tasks, ensuring that every component meets rigorous quality standards and client specifications. Responsibilities Execute high-quality MIG welding processes on mild, stainless, and galvannealed steel to meet production targets. Interpret complex blueprints and welding symbols to determine the most effective fabrication methods for custom projects. Perform critical first-piece inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy before proceeding with full production runs. Manage workflow efficiency by organizing job orders based on technical complexity and estimated completion times. Maintain detailed production records to ensure accurate inventory and output tracking. Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment or material issues during the fabrication process. Maintain a safe and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA standards. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of professional experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication. Proven ability to perform flat, horizontal, and vertical uphill welds. Advanced proficiency in reading blueprints, welding symbols, and utilizing tape measures. Strong understanding of GD&T principles and welding setup procedures. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to high-precision craftsmanship. Preferred Skills OSHA 10-Hour Certification. Prior experience in a high-volume, custom manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving abilities regarding metal assembly and material properties.
