Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aluminum TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Louisville, KY. This hands-on position focuses on the fabrication and assembly of custom industrial machinery and equipment, with a primary emphasis on TIG welding aluminum and producing high-quality, visually professional welds. The role involves custom fabrication work rather than repetitive, high-volume production. Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding with a primary focus on aluminum materials. Fit, tack, and weld fabricated components and assemblies.

Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and dimensional specifications. Layout, fit, and prepare components for welding according to drawings and project requirements.

Measure, align, square, and position components before final welding

Perform grinding, cleaning, finishing, and weld preparation as needed.

Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality and dimensional accuracy. Fabricate machine frames, guards, enclosures, brackets, and other custom components.

Utilize fabrication equipment, hand tools, grinders, saws, and measuring instruments.

Collaborate with engineering and mechanical teams to resolve fabrication and drawing questions.

Follow all company quality standards, welding procedures, and safety requirements. QualificationsRequired

Proven hands-on TIG welding experience. Demonstrated ability to TIG weld aluminum to a high standard. Ability to produce clean, consistent, and visually appealing welds. Ability to read and work from fabrication drawings and blueprints. Experience with layout, fit-up, material preparation, and welding best practices. Strong measuring and fabrication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple custom projects. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical fabrication-shop duties, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and positioning materials. Preferred (Not Required)

Stainless steel TIG welding experience.

MIG welding experience.

Press brake operation.

CNC turret punch operation. Sheet metal fabrication experience. Experience with custom machinery, OEM equipment, or machine-building environments. What We're Looking For
