Manufacturing Full Job Description Job Description:
Expertise in MIG welding techniques, focusing on the assembly of components, parts, and structures. A strong ability to interpret technical drawings and adhere to work orders is essential. This role demands precision and a dedication to delivering exceptional craftsmanship.
Hourly Range :
$24.02 - $26.53 (Base d on experience)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Fanuc weld robot programing and operation required Positions parts in jigs or fixtures, or clamps parts together along layout marks Lays out, positions, and tack welds work pieces Welds along vertical, horizontal weld lines Connects regulator valve to tank. Turns regulator valve to activate flow of gas, and adjusts gas mixture and pressure to obtain desired flow rate. Examines weld for bead size and other specifications Chips or grinds off excess weld, slag, or splatter Complete tasks while adhering to production schedules Communicate any issues or quality concerns to department Supervisor Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards Operates all tools and equipment safely. Report any safety issues immediately to the manager. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
Candidate must be able to pass a 2G welding test in GMAW process with .045 solid wire 1 year of MIG Welding experience required Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, uninvolved written or oral instructions Knowledge of basic math, tape measure reading Ability to read blueprints and measuring tape preferred Experienced in a fast-paced production environment preferred Able to pass all EHS requirements Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to maintain accurate records and perform basic mathematical operations Ability to follow instructions under limited supervision
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
While performing duties, must be able to sit, stand, talk, twist, hear, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required include distance vision, close vision, peripheral vision, & depth perception
