Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST have at least 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong commitment to workplace safety. This is an onsite, in-person position with a regular shift of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime, weekend, and out-of-town work as required. Key Responsibilities (Not all-inclusive): Perform welding and fabrication tasks in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations. Must read, understand, and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings without supervision. Utilize various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) to complete assignments. Cut, shape, and assemble metal components with precision and accuracy. Inspect finished workpieces for quality and compliance with standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety standards. Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and OSHA regulations. Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing fabricated components when necessary. Willingness to work overtime, weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fitting/fabrication/welding/blueprints. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metal properties, and fabrication processes. Ability to operate welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments. Must be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail. Strong focus on workplace safety and adherence to safety procedures. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends as needed to meet project deadlines . Certification in welding (AWS, ASME, etc.) Valid Driver's License required
