Full-time, long-term contract We are a busy fabrication shop seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team as a key, long-term member. Position Overview You will perform a variety of welding and fabrication work in a fast-paced shop environment. We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in quality workmanship, maintains a positive attitude, and wants to be an integral part of a productive team with steady, long-term work. Key Responsibilities Perform welding (MIG, TIG, stick, and/or flux-core as required) and related fabrication tasks to print or verbal instruction Layout, cut, fit, and assemble metal components accurately Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders Maintain equipment, tools, and a clean, safe work area Work efficiently while consistently producing high-quality results Collaborate with the team and communicate effectively Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional welding and fabrication experience Must live within 25 miles of Lafayette, LA Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Positive attitude and reliable work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods Valid driver's license preferred What We Offer Steady, long-term work with a busy fabrication shop Opportunity to become a valued, integral member of the team Competitive pay based on experience and skill
