ARC Energy is seeking a skilled and dependable Pipe Fitter to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have experience fitting stainless steel and carbon steel pipe, reading spool drawings and P&IDs, and working in an industrial fabrication environment. Qualifications Must be able to pass a 6G GTAW (TIG) and FCAW (Flux-Cored) welding test. Must have experience welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipe. Minimum 2 years of welding experience. Must be able to weld in position and on a roll-out. Must be able to read and interpret welding drawings, specifications, and applicable procedures. Ability to work overtime when required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, climbing, kneeling, and twisting. Must be able to climb ladders and work safely both indoors and outdoors around moving equipment. High school diploma or GED preferred. Must pass required drug screening and background check. Responsabilities Perform welding procedures according to applicable codes, project requirements, and specifications. Perform high-quality welds on stainless steel and carbon steel pipe. Perform welding tasks that meet job specifications and production requirements. Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications. Mark completed welds as directed by company policy. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Follow all safety and company procedures Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work in various positions throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial shop environments. Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods. Work Environment This position is performed primarily in an industrial fabrication shop. Employees may be exposed to noise, dust, welding fumes, paint vapors, and heavy equipment. Proper PPE is required at all times.
