Welder / Fabricator Earnest Contracting Shreveport-Bossier, LA Full-Time | 45-50 Hours Per Week Build More Than Metal—Build Your Future Earnest Contracting is looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team. As a Welder / Fabricator, you'll play an important role in keeping our fleet and facilities operating safely and efficiently by fabricating new components, repairing damaged equipment, and supporting our shop mechanics. What We Offer Pay range between $22.00

00 per hour, based on experience/skill Full-time, year-round employment Typical schedule of 45-50 hours per week Monday through Friday with Saturdays as needed Health insurance 401(k) with company match after one year Stable company with more than 60 years in the road construction industry Opportunities for advancement and career growth What You'll Do Measure, cut, and prepare steel and other materials to specifications Fabricate and weld custom parts, repairs, brackets, and structural components Repair and reinforce heavy equipment, trailers, shop equipment, and company assets Inspect completed welds to ensure strength, quality, and durability Safely operate welders, torches, grinders, saws, and fabrication equipment Assist shop mechanics with equipment and vehicle repairs Read and follow measurements, drawings, and fabrication requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Perform other shop duties as assigned by the Shop Manager Qualifications Previous welding and fabrication experience required Experience with MIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding preferred Ability to accurately read a tape measure and fabricate to specifications Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment and power tools Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or occasional evenings when needed Why Earnest Contracting?
