$27 - $45 per hour Job Details - We are seeking a skilled Permanent Pipe Welder (TIG) to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in welding carbon steel and tig root, with a minimum of 5 years of pipe welding experience. This role is perfect for a technically proficient individual who is passionate about precision, quality, and safety. As a Permanent Pipe Welder (TIG), you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Pipe Welder (TIG), your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 1. Performing TIG welding operations on carbon steel pipes in accordance with specified procedures and standards. 2. Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the welding requirements and set up the welding equipment accordingly. 3. Conducting inspections of welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and ensure adherence to quality standards. 4. Maintaining and repairing all welding equipment and fixtures. 5. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of protective equipment. 6. Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot and solve welding issues. 7. Ensuring work is done accurately and efficiently to minimize waste and downtime. 8. Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to maintain current knowledge in the field.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Pipe Welder (TIG) position, candidates must possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in TIG welding, specifically with carbon steel and tig root. 2. A proven track record of interpreting and following blueprints, drawings, and specifications. 3. Demonstrated proficiency in using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment. 4. Strong knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items. 9. A valid welding certification would be a significant advantage.
