Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal structures and products, supporting our commitment to excellence in fabrication and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and mechanical fabrication skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately produce components Perform various welding processes including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) according to AWS (American Welding Society) standards Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, power tools, and measuring tapes to ensure precise dimensions and quality control Operate fabrication equipment including press brake machines, plasma cutters, and pipe threading tools for sheet metal and metal material fabrication Cut, shape, assemble, and weld sheet metal and other metal materials for structural or mechanical applications Follow safety protocols rigorously while working on construction sites or within fabrication shops to maintain a safe working environment Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, ASME codes & standards, and mechanical blueprints for accurate fabrication and assembly Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites or in a fabrication shop environment with metal materials Strong knowledge of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and interpret mechanical blueprints accurately Proficiency with measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, measuring tapes, and other precision tools Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, ductwork installation, machining processes, soldering, plasma cutting, and press brake operation Familiarity with safety protocols related to welding operations and construction site safety standards Experience with fabricating using sheet metal fabrication techniques and understanding of ASME codes & standards Ability to work with hand tools and power tools efficiently while maintaining quality standards Basic math skills including shop math necessary for measurements and calculations in fabrication tasks Join our team as a Welder/Fabricator if you're passionate about craftsmanship, thrive in a safety-conscious environment, and are eager to contribute your technical expertise to exciting projects.
