Job Summary The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to blueprints and specifications, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications Measure, cut, and fit metal components to precise tolerances Set up welding equipment and ensure proper operation Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity Grind, clean, and finish welds as required Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Qualifications 5 years proven experience with MIG and TIG welding Strong fitting and fabrication skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings Knowledge of welding symbols and standards Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Preferred Qualifications Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) or qualifying certification or minimum of 10 total years welding experience. Hilo and overhead crane experience is a plus Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Knowledge of different metal properties and welding techniques Work Environment Manufacturing setting Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
