About the Role As an Experienced TIG Welder/Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating custom metal parts to exact specifications. Common projects include sheet metal guards, enclosures, chutes, racks, and structural weldments. This role requires advanced skills in TIG welding, fitting, and metal finishing to ensure high-quality results that meet both customer requirements and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

TIG welding and fitting of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components. MIG welding with at least limited capability to support fabrication needs. Interpreting blueprints and breaking them down into fabrication details. Fitting, welding, and finishing custom parts to tight tolerances. Inspecting completed parts for quality, accuracy, and completeness. Collaborating with team members to ensure project deadlines are met. Maintaining tools necessary for fabricating a variety of part types.

What We're Looking For Experience:

5+ years in fitting and welding sheet metal and structural steel.

Skills:

Expertise in TIG welding (required) and at least limited MIG welding capability.

Technical Knowledge:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Materials:

Proficiency in working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Work Ethic:

A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to producing high-quality results.

Tools:
