Key ResponsibilitiesWelding & Fabrication:

Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on materials like steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Equipment Setup:

Adjust and configure welding machines, gas flow rates, and current/amperage settings.

Blueprint Reading:

Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols.

Material Preparation:

Clean, grind, cut, and clamp metal surfaces to eliminate contamination.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished welds for structural integrity and correct dimensions.

Safety & Maintenance:

Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean workspace (5S/Lean practices). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]

Qualifications & RequirementsEducation:

High school diploma or GED certificate.

Experience:

Proven experience operating both MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) equipment.

Skills:

Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to pass an on-site practical weld test.

Physical Demands:
