Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated TIG/MIG Welder with experience in laser welding and/or interest in laser welding. to join our dynamic fabrication and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise TIG welding operations on various materials, including sheet metal, pipe, and structural components, to produce high-quality assemblies that meet strict industry standards. Your expertise in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and fabrication techniques will ensure the successful completion of complex projects on time and within specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction and manufacturing projects, utilizing advanced welding technologies and tools to bring designs to life. Responsibilities Execute TIG welding processes with precision on diverse materials such as sheet metal, pipe, and structural components, adhering to project specifications and safety standards. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and assembly procedures. Utilize hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to prepare materials for welding. Perform TIG/MIG welding, and specific welding techniques as required for different projects. Conduct quality inspections using calipers, and other measurement tools to ensure weld integrity and dimensional accuracy. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing facilities with a strong focus on welding operations. Proficiency in TIG welding with a solid understanding of specific welding standards/weld symbols; experience with MIG welding. Ability to read detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with using calipers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
