We're hiring experienced MIG Welders to join a growing fabrication shop producing exhaust systems for industries including power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off‑road equipment . This role offers a great mix of custom and production MIG welding in a modern facility with strong long‑term growth potential. What You'll Do Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel Tack weld and assemble exhaust systems Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols Assist with fabrication tasks (brake press, shear, roller) Support various shop operations to expand skills and experience What We're Looking For Solid MIG welding experience Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols Experience in metal fabrication Comfortable working in both custom and production environments Nice to Have TIG welding or plasma cutting experience Knowledge of wire‑feed techniques Experience using tape measures and brake presses Welding experience from school, farm, or previous employment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apple Valley, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
