Responsibilities :

Use MIG welding experience and familiarity with Carbon Steel to cut and join metals with precision from technical drawings and verbal instruction. Charge forklift batteries as needed; participate in physical inventories; perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed; Repair pallets when necessary; clean railcars, trailers, truck bays, and warehouse as requested

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Generally clean, well-lit environment. Some moderate to heavy lifting (weights can exceed 60#, and can require overhead work). Some pushing, pulling, bending, & stooping. Prolonged standing. Accurate depth perception. Working hours : 6:00 AM

Qualifications :

Must have knowledge of MIG welding processes. Familiar with Carbon Steel. Passing the Weld test is required. Passing Physical is required. Knowledge of working with welding tools and equipment. Skilled in operating power and hand tools. Able to understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature. Able to read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Able to lift in excess of fifty pounds. Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective PPE (Eye Protection, face-shield, gloves, Helmet, Ear protection-optional, etc.). Interested? !
