Opportunity:
This position is responsible for welding aluminum components used in the production of premium railing, decking, balconies, and architectural building systems. The ideal candidate is committed to producing high-quality welds, working safely, and contributing to an efficient manufacturing process.
What You'll Be Doing:
Perform MIG welding on aluminum components according to blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions. Set up and operate MIG welding equipment safely and efficiently. Weld structural and non-structural aluminum assemblies while maintaining quality and dimensional accuracy. Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings. Inspect completed welds for strength, appearance, and compliance with quality standards. Grind, clean, and prepare welds for finishing or assembly as needed. Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. What makes you a great fit: High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous MIG welding experience required; aluminum welding experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols. Strong understanding of welding techniques, fabrication, and quality standards. Experience using grinders, saws, measuring tools, and other fabrication equipment.
