We are seeking motivated welders who want to grow their skills, earn excellent pay, and transition into a union position after a successful contract period. Shift Options 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:30 PM - 12:30 AM Overtime Available Typical workweek: 45-50 hours Overtime is mandatory when needed Pay & Benefits $30.00 - $34.80/hour Contract-to-Union after 6 months Annual scheduled pay increases (3-4%) Holiday pay after 30 days Union medical, dental, vision, and hearing coverage No deductible for employee and dependents 401(k) contribution of $1.10 per hour worked Overtime pay: 1.5x after 8 hours worked per day 1.5x Saturdays 2x Sundays 3x Holidays Responsibilities Perform custom welding in an ASME-regulated manufacturing environment Weld pressure vessels and propane storage tanks Utilize FCAW (Flux Core), SMAW (Stick), MIG, TIG, and Sub-Arc welding processes Read and interpret blueprints and weld specifications Produce high-quality welds that meet safety and quality standards Maintain a safe and organized work area Support production activities and assist where needed Required Qualifications At least 6 months of welding experience (industry or technical school) Experience with: Flux Core (FCAW) Welding Stick (SMAW) Welding Blueprint Reading Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work overtime as needed Physical Requirements Comfortable working at heights Comfortable working in confined spaces Able to work in a manufacturing environment Welding Test Information Candidates will complete practical weld tests including: 2G FCAW (Flux Core) 3G FCAW (Flux Core) 2G SMAW (7018 Stick) 3G SMAW (7018 Stick) Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Cambridge, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.80/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
