Job Description:
Key Responsibilities Perform various welding processes including electric resistance, oxyacetylene, plasma‑arc, and TIG welding. Weld a variety of metals and alloys, ensuring proper penetration, fusion, and structural integrity. Fabricate, assemble, or repair metal structures according to blueprints, schematics, layouts, and work orders. Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition. Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and regulations in the welding area. Collaborate with supervisors or team members to coordinate work and ensure timely completion of projects. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year of welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Working knowledge of welding equipment, materials, techniques, and processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as required for the job. Work may involve exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and noise (with proper protective equipment provided).
Compensation Information:
