Temp-to-Hire Position Overview Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable TIG Welders for a temp-to-hire manufacturing opportunity in Neosho. This position is a great fit for candidates looking to build their welding and fabrication skills while working as part of a hands-on production team focused on quality, safety, and consistent workmanship. New welding school graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous TIG welding experience is preferred, but candidates with fabrication experience and strong welding fundamentals may also be considered. Required Experience & Skills TIG welding experience preferred Fabrication experience may be considered in place of extensive TIG experience Ability to read basic drawings or follow detailed work instructions Basic understanding of welding and fabrication processes Strong attention to detail and workmanship Ability to work effectively in a production environment Ability to follow supervisor direction and established procedures Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team Commitment to workplace and welding safety Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform TIG welding tasks as assigned Complete general welding and fabrication work Work from drawings, instructions, and supervisor direction Prepare materials and components for welding Position and align components as required Complete welds according to production requirements Inspect completed work for visible quality concerns Maintain consistent workmanship throughout production Identify and communicate welding or fabrication concerns Assist with general fabrication activities Support team members in meeting daily production goals Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow all company safety and quality procedures Perform additional welding and production duties as assigned TIG Welding & Fabrication Candidates may assist with: TIG welding Component fit-up Tack welding Metal fabrication Material preparation Component positioning Weld cleanup Finished-product inspection General production support Candidates with strong fabrication experience who are still developing their TIG welding skills are encouraged to apply. Entry-Level Welders This opportunity may be a strong fit for recent welding school graduates looking to gain additional hands-on production experience.
