, Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components to create high-quality products that meet strict industry standards. Your expertise in various welding techniques, fabrication processes, and blueprint reading will be essential to ensure precision and safety on the job site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions, and develop your technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Read and interpret detailed prints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components. Perform MCAW (Metal-Core Arc Welding), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to join metals with precision and durability. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and ductwork. Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely to move heavy materials or assemblies during fabrication or installation processes. Measure materials accurately using precision tools; perform basic math calculations for dimensions and tolerances. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times during construction site or manufacturing floor activities. Qualifications Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background with hands-on fabrication skills. Proficiency in MCAW and FCAW welding techniques; experience with welding required. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and basic machining processes. Knowledge of rigging operations, including crane handling; valid certifications are a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic math calculations confidently. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance according to industry standards such as ASME codes & standards. Pay:
$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
