Job Description

Experienced Welder/Fabricator (Specializing in Aluminum, Stainless Steel)
Location:
Burlington, NC Shift Hours :
1st shift: 7a-3:30p
Pay:
$20-25+/hourly-Based on experience We are seeking a highly skilled Welder specializing in aluminum, stainless steel, and steel components to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in MIG and TIG welding and grind finishing , with a particular emphasis on aluminum materials. Responsibilities:
Execute MIG and TIG welding on aluminum components following engineering specifications and blueprints. Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel components according to engineering specifications and blueprints. Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate assembly and welding of parts and modify, and/or fabricate parts to create mating part alignment. Conduct thorough inspections of welded components to ensure compliance with quality standards. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, reporting any safety concerns promptly. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Work closely with team members, including engineers, to achieve project goals. Identify and address welding-related issues, proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and quality. Leverage a minimum of 2 years of sheet metal fabrication experience for accurate assembly and welding. Demonstrate proficiency in MIG and TIG welding of aluminum and stainless-steel materials. Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Perform basic math functions, including adding and subtracting fractions. Utilize, read, and understand general tools used in fabrication (tape measure, protractor, calipers, etc.). Lift up to 50+ lbs, bend, twist, stoop, and reach at/above shoulder level. Exhibit a strong work ethic, consistently showing up and giving 110% to the job. Be willing to work late or on weekends as production demands.
Qualifications:
Demonstrate experience in MIG and TIG welding, with a focus on aluminum materials. Possession of welding certification is highly desirable. Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Exhibit the ability to produce high-quality welds with attention to detail and precision. Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment. Commit to maintaining a safe working environment and adherence to safety protocols. Demonstrate proactive problem-solving ability with a focus on continuous improvement. Be dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
