Job Description

Horne Brothers Communications, Inc. is looking for an experienced Structural Welder/ Fabricator to cut and join metals and other materials at our facility or construction sites. This position operates appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision and must be competent in using equipment following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is a plus. A positive mindset and willingness to be a team player is also a must. Strong work ethics, eagerness to expand base knowledge, and a passion for our field of work are all traits we use to accomplish our goals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities At least 5 years of proven experience as a structural welder/fabricator Professional Certification (AWS D1.1) Experience in using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (Stick, MIG welders, Arc gouging etc.) Experience in using electrical and manual tools (saws, grinders, squares, tape measures) Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawing Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing/ Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Deftness and attention to detail Horne Brothers Communications, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
