The MIG Welder is responsible for performing high-quality metal welding using the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG) process. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components according to specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, or other metals as required Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting voltage, wire feed, and gas flow Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with specifications Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding Work with production teams to meet workflow and schedule requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of
PPE Required Qualifications:
minimum 6 months of on the job experience
Preferred Qualifications:
