Your work directly impacts the structural integrity of our finished products, ensuring we meet rigorous industry standards for our clients. Responsibilities Execute high-quality MIG welding processes to join and fabricate steel parts according to technical specifications. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate component assembly and alignment. Operate and maintain essential fabrication machinery, including grinders, drills, and banders, to prepare materials. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify dimensional accuracy. Maintain a safe and organized workspace by strictly adhering to all industrial safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes, to move heavy steel components safely. Perform routine machine setups to ensure consistent production flow and output quality. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics. Strong mathematical aptitude, specifically converting fractions to decimals and metric to English units. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in an industrial setting. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment. Current or previous welding certifications. Valid certification for forklift and overhead crane operation. Vocational training or apprenticeship in welding or metalworking.
