Job Overview MIG/TIG Welder Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding a variety of materials, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Required Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of hands-on welding experience in a production, manufacturing, or fabrication environment. Proficiency performing MIG welding on steel and aluminum. Proficiency performing TIG welding on copper and aluminum. Ability to set up, adjust, operate, calibrate, and maintain welding equipment and tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and welding symbols to determine welding methods and requirements. Experience inspecting finished welds and fabricated components to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards and specifications. Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve welding defects and quality issues, making necessary adjustments to equipment, settings, or techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail. Thorough understanding of welding safety standards, procedures, and best practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a high level of accountability and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of welding experience. Current welding certification(s). Demonstrated history of exceptional craftsmanship and quality workmanship. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and pride in completed work. Continuous improvement mindset with a desire to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
