We're looking for welders, fabricators, and weld finishers who take pride in clean work — whether you've run a shop floor for 20 years or you're fresh out of a welding program and ready to prove yourself. No commute to Hickory or Johnson City. Skilled trade work, minutes from home. About Us Garden Metalwork, LLC is a family-owned custom fabrication shop — no corporate red tape — building ornamental and architectural metalwork in steel and aluminum since 1996: railings, arbors, trellises, fire screens, planter boxes, driveway reflectors, and one-off custom projects. Our work ships from Avery County to clients across the entire United States — homeowners, contractors, and landscape architects, plus the Getty Museum, Pottery Barn, Boston's Rose Kennedy Greenway, Sporty's catalog, HGTV's Curb Appeal, and a few famous names we don't drop. Thirty years in, we're busier than ever — which is why we're hiring. What We're Looking For Required:
Welding or metal fabrication experience, OR completion of a welding/fab program (recent grads encouraged to apply) Able to read a tape measure accurately and follow drawings/instructions Reliable, safety-minded, and able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts Valid driver's license (for occasional powder-coating runs) Nice to
