Welder:

Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding operations on carbon steel, stainless steel, and structural metal components. Interpret complex technical blueprints, engineering schematics, and standardized AWS welding symbols to accurately plan and fit assemblies. Safely set up, operate, and maintain shop machinery including plasma cutters, band saws, press brakes, ironworkers, and grinding tools. Measure, align, and secure raw materials using precision measuring instruments (calipers, tape measures, micrometers) and custom fixturing. Conduct pre- and post-weld quality inspections to ensure full joint penetration, dimensional accuracy, and clean aesthetic finishes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while utilizing all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Utilize overhead cranes, hoists, or forklifts safely to manipulate heavy materials and structural fabrications. Skills and Experience What You'll Bring as a

Preferred Candidate:

At least 1+ years of practical MIG welding and metal fabrication experience in an industrial manufacturing setting. Proven ability to read and execute fabrication instructions directly from engineering blueprints and shop drawings. Solid mechanical aptitude with hands-on proficiency using power tools, cutting torches, and measurement equipment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing clean, structurally sound welds every time. Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding shop environment (standing, bending, reaching).
