Solderer

•Manchester, NH Full-Time, Contract to Hire | Starting at $18 per hour

•wages are based on experience Our client, a leading global electronics manufacturing services company, is seeking a Solderer to join their team in Manchester, NH . This is a great opportunity to work in a clean, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth . Responsibilities Perform through-hole and surface mount (SMT) soldering on PCBs and electronic assemblies Utilize hand soldering, wave soldering, and reflow soldering techniques as required Ensure solder joints meet quality standards and are free of defects (cold joints, bridges, shorts) Desolder and rework defective solder joints as needed Properly identify, select, orient, and place components according to schematics and documentation Inspect completed assemblies using magnification and inspection tools to verify conformance to specifications (including

IPC-A-610

standards) Document and report defects or discrepancies Follow work instructions, schematics, blueprints, and maintain accurate production records (may include computer logging) Maintain, clean, and ensure proper calibration of soldering equipment (irons, rework stations, tools); report malfunctions to supervisor Follow all safety procedures, use PPE, safely handle soldering materials and chemicals, and maintain a clean and organized workspace Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Technical training or certification in electronics soldering is a plus Prior electronic soldering experience, preferably in manufacturing Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering techniques is a plus Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Ability to work with small, delicate components Knowledge of electronic components and soldering materials Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation

Starting at $18 per hour
