Our company is a dynamic job shop specializing in build to print precision sheet metal components and weldments to the electronic, semi-conductor, life science and security industries. The ideal candidate will have welding experience and be flexible to work in various departments to support production needs. Duties Experience welding aluminum, cold rolled steel, stainless steel, titanium as thin as 0.030" thick Measure parts for accuracy and ensure parts meet print requirements Perform varied fabrication operations such as grinding, countersinking, tapping, etc Maintain equipment including ordering consumables through production manager Adhere to all safety and quality protocols and guidelines. Report safety hazards and work with management to improve safety Maintain a clean and organized work area Troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process Collaborate with management to resolve problems Maintain accurate records of production output and machine settings Contribute to and support continuous improvement Other duties as assigned Experience and Qualifications High School/GED, Technical or vocational training in metal fabrication preferred Three years of welding experience preferred Must be able to read and interpret blue prints/drawings Good communication skills Collaborative team-player Physical Demands Ability to lift/move 50 lbs Performing the duties of this job requires regularly standing and lifting Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week
