Job Description

Description We are looking for skilled A-13 Welders to join our project crews. Welders will be responsible for performing welding, fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance work on metal structures, piping, equipment, and components across residential, commercial, industrial, and construction projects. Crew members may be assigned to individual projects or work as part of a larger team depending on project requirements. Responsibilities Perform A-13 welding and related fabrication work according to project specifications and requirements. Weld, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair metal components, structures, piping, and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, welding drawings, schematics, weld symbols, and project specifications. Select and properly use welding equipment, tools, materials, and consumables required for assigned work. Prepare metal surfaces and components for welding, including cutting, grinding, fitting, and positioning. Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure proper quality, strength, alignment, and appearance. Identify and correct welding defects or fabrication issues when necessary. Perform repair and maintenance welding on equipment, structures, piping, and other metal components. Follow applicable welding procedures, project specifications, safety requirements, and industry standards. Maintain and safely operate welding machines, torches, grinders, cutting equipment, and other tools. Coordinate with foremen, project managers, engineers, pipefitters, mechanics, and other crew members as required. Communicate project requirements, material needs, and potential issues
Pay:
$25.87 - $150.00 per hour
