Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in reading blueprints, interpreting weld symbols, and executing precise, high-quality welds using multiple techniques and materials. Known for a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and craftsmanship. Eager to take on increased leadership responsibilities, bringing a collaborative mindset, mentoring skills, and a deep understanding of shop operations to support team performance and project success Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Utilize various power tools and welding equipment to fabricate metal components. Assemble parts and structures using appropriate techniques, ensuring adherence to codes and standards. Perform welding and rigging as required for specific projects. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Operate forklifts safely for material handling within the workshop. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Experience with power tools and welding equipment is essential. Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to welding and fabrication processes is preferred. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Previous experience in assembly work is an advantage. Knowledge of rigging techniques is beneficial but not mandatory.
