We are preparing for multiple upcoming projects throughout October and November and are seeking experienced, dependable Industrial Pipe Welders to join our network of skilled tradesmen. Position Overview We are seeking skilled Industrial Pipe Welders with experience in industrial piping systems, fabrication, and installation. Qualified candidates should be proficient in applicable welding processes, capable of interpreting technical drawings, and comfortable working in demanding industrial environments. Projects may include new installations, facility maintenance, shutdowns, and custom fabrication.
Work Location:
Various industrial project sites throughout Kentucky and other locations as project needs arise. This is a field-based position requiring travel to assigned job sites. Applicants are not required to report to an office in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Key Responsibilities Perform industrial pipe welding using TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), and other applicable welding processes. Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and other piping materials according to project specifications. Perform weld preparation, fit-up, alignment, and assembly of industrial piping systems. Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and welding specifications. Complete welds in accordance with applicable industry codes and project requirements. Inspect completed welds for quality and workmanship. Operate welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently. Work collaboratively with pipe fitters, foremen, and other trades to meet project schedules. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to company and job site safety standards. Participate in industrial shutdowns, maintenance projects, and new piping installations as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous professional experience in industrial pipe welding. Proficiency in TIG (GTAW) and/or Stick (SMAW) welding processes. Experience working with industrial process piping systems. Ability to read and interpret piping drawings and welding specifications. Knowledge of proper weld preparation, fit-up, and welding procedures. Strong understanding of industrial job site safety requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a project crew. Dependability, punctuality, and commitment to quality workmanship. Willingness to travel to assigned project locations, including overnight stays when required. Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications Experience welding sanitary stainless steel piping. Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel process piping. Experience with 6G pipe welding. Familiarity with ASME welding requirements and applicable welding procedures. Previous experience with industrial shutdowns and plant maintenance. Relevant welding certifications or completed apprenticeship programs. Experience working in manufacturing, food processing, or other industrial facilities.

Starting compensation:
$30.00 per hour, with higher rates available based on experience, qualifications, and project requirements. Travel and per diem opportunities may be available depending on project location. Project assignments and duration will vary based on client needs. Additional project opportunities may be available upon successful completion of assignments. Applicants should understand that this opportunity is structured as independent contract work rather than traditional W-2 employment.
