Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help us produce high-quality metal structures and parts that meet project specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse fabrication projects in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your technical skills to deliver exceptional craftsmanship. Duties Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately produce components. Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) following AWS (American Welding Society) standards. Measure and mark materials using calipers, tape measures, and shop math to ensure precise cuts and welds. Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal materials such as sheet metal and structural steel. Fabricate metal components by cutting, bending, assembling, and welding according to specifications while maintaining safety protocol adherence. Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to guide fabrication processes accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the fabrication shop while adhering to safety procedures at all times. Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks involving metal materials, ensuring quality control throughout the process. Skills Proven experience with a strong understanding of safety protocols in industrial environments. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints confidently. Skilled in measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, and shop math for precise fabrication work. Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes, metal materials, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly procedures. Experience with plasma cutting, machining, use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication shop equipment.
