Role Description The Metal Fabricator is a full-time, on-site role based at Advanced Welding's facility in Franklin, OH. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings, measuring and cutting metal materials, and assembling components using welding and fabrication techniques. Day-to-day tasks include operating hand and power tools, performing grinding and finishing work, and assisting with machining or powder coating processes as needed. The Metal Fabricator will inspect completed parts for quality, follow safety protocols, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaboration with other team members and supervisors is essential to meet project deadlines and customer specifications. Qualifications Metalworking skills, including cutting, forming, and assembling metal components. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in fabrication and finishing. Experience with grinding techniques to prepare, smooth, and finish metal surfaces. Ability to safely operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment. Basic understanding of welding processes; formal welding training or certifications are a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurement tools (tape measures, calipers, etc.). Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety practices, and reliable attendance. Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a shop environment. Prior experience in metal fabrication, machining, or related trades preferred but not required.

Pay:

$23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
