Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality welding operations across various projects, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and technical specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the successful assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems, structural components, and specialized equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites and manufacturing environments, utilizing your welding skills to deliver durable and precise results. Duties Perform
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques on different materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute fabrication and pipefitting tasks. Cut, shape, bend, and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment. Install piping systems for plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinkler fitting, pipeline projects, or sprinkler systems according to ASME codes & standards and NFPA standards. Conduct pipe welding and pipe installation tasks while adhering to safety regulations and safety protocol guidelines. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and ensure power tool safety during all operations. Read measurements with basic math skills to ensure precise fabrication; interpret schematics for complex assemblies. Support construction site activities including rigging, pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and assembly of mechanical systems. Maintain a clean work environment by following safety regulations and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards at all times. Skills Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding, pipe welding, and fire sprinkler fitting techniques. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately. Mechanical knowledge of pipefitting, plumbing systems, HVAC components, and fabrication processes. Skilled in using hand tools such as calipers, pipe benders, tube benders, power tools including grinders and cutters. Experience with pipe threading machines and assembly of piping systems in accordance with ASME codes & standards. Knowledge of safety regulations related to welding operations and construction site safety practices. Ability to read basic math measurements for precise fabrication; familiarity with schematics for system layouts. Construction site experience including rigging techniques for lifting heavy components safely. Familiarity with NFPA standards for fire sprinkler systems or pipeline safety protocols is a plus. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
