FCAW, GTAW

(TIG), and GMAW (MIG) welding on carbon steel and stainless steel assemblies in a pressure vessel, process tank, piping, or heavy industrial fabrication environment. This position is not repetitive production welding. Our Welder/Fabricators are responsible for interpreting fabrication drawings, fitting components, welding complete vessel assemblies, and producing code-quality work from print to finished product. Shift:

6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday Responsibilities Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, weld details, and shop travelers. Fit, fabricate, and weld custom ASME pressure vessels and process tanks from print to finished assembly. Perform

FCAW, GMAW

(MIG), and GTAW (TIG) welding on carbon steel and stainless steel materials. Layout, fit, and assemble vessel components including shells, heads, nozzles, manways, supports, and structural attachments. Meet weld quality requirements and maintain dimensional tolerances throughout fabrication. Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, torches, positioners, and material handling equipment. Verify dimensions, fit-up quality, and weld integrity throughout the manufacturing process. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining production schedules and quality standards. Follow all safety, quality, and ASME code requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Welder/Fabricator in a heavy fabrication, pressure vessel, process tank, or similar industrial manufacturing environment. Extensive FCAW (Flux Core) welding experience is required. Extensive GTAW (TIG) welding experience on carbon steel and stainless steel is required. Experience with GMAW (MIG/Hardwire) welding is required. Experience with carbon arc gouging is required. Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and shop travelers. Experience fitting, fabricating, and assembling custom welded components from print to finished product. Strong knowledge of fit-up, weld sequencing, distortion control, and fabrication best practices. Ability to accurately use tape measures, squares, levels, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. Experience operating common fabrication equipment including grinders, torches, positioners, and related shop tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing code-quality workmanship. Ability to work safely, independently, and as part of a team in a fast-paced fabrication environment. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Previous experience fabricating ASME pressure vessels, process tanks, piping systems, or other heavy industrial equipment is strongly preferred.
