Job Overview The TIG Welder in the Finish Department is responsible for performing high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum components used in tank trailer manufacturing. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict quality and safety standards. Duties Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and/or aluminum components according to blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications Grind, clean, and prepare materials for welding as needed Perform minor repairs and finishing work on tank trailers and components Maintain accurate production and quality records as required Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards Work collaboratively with other departments to meet production goals Maintain a clean and organized work area Required Qualifications Previous TIG welding experience (preferred in manufacturing or tank trailer industry) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to use welding tools, grinders, and measuring equipment Basic math and measurement skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and work in confined positions for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Exposure to heat, noise, and industrial environment conditions Use of required PPE at all times What We Offer Competitive wages based on experience Full-time, stable schedule Training and skill development Supportive, safety-focused team environment Opportunity for long-term career growth within the company Tremcar USA Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
