Welder/Fabricator - Full-Time John's Welding & Towing, Inc. is a family-owned and operated company located in Tiffin, Ohio. We have been an Associate International Dealer since 1997 and take pride in providing quality workmanship and dependable service to our customers. We are looking for a skilled, dependable, and adaptable Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This position offers a variety of work, so the ideal candidate is someone who enjoys learning, can adapt to different projects, and takes pride in doing quality work. Job Responsibilities Fabricate and weld metal components using a variety of tools and equipment Perform welding using multiple techniques, including stick welding Measure, mark, and cut materials according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings Assemble and modify components as needed Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper fit Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Safely operate welding equipment, power tools, and other shop equipment Perform a variety of fabrication and repair projects as needed Qualifications 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience preferred Proficiency in various welding techniques, including stick welding Ability to accurately measure and perform basic math calculations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Dependable, adaptable, and willing to take on a variety of projects Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position Physical Requirements This position requires frequent: Standing Bending, reaching, and kneeling Lifting and moving materials Working with tools and equipment for extended periods Tools Employees are expected to provide their own basic hand tools, welding hood, and similar personal tools. Specialty tools and equipment are provided by the company. Compensation Pay is based on knowledge, skill, and experience.
