$24 to $28/hr, based on experience Job Description A manufacturing company is seeking a Mig Welder who will train on first shift for a couple weeks and then w ork second shift from 2 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Duties:

Set-up and operate MIG welding equipment using prescribed methods and procedures to weld parts with acceptable tolerances and standards Work from drawing/blueprints Regularly check work to verify dimensions, ensure compliance to specifications and make necessary adjustments or corrections Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment

Job Requirements Requirements:

Must at least 1 year of MIG Welding experience Must be able to accurately read a tape measure and blueprints or drawings Must have the ability to regularly verify dimensions to ensure compliance to specification and make necessary adjustment Must be able to pay a strong attention to detail and quality Must have a welding helmet and steel toed boots Must be comfortable standing for long period of time and lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance Must have a strong work ethic Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
