Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder Helper to join our fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will assist experienced welders in preparing materials, setting up equipment, Your energy and mechanical aptitude will contribute to the efficient assembly of metal structures, piping, and sheet metal components. Duties Assist welders with material handling, including lifting, positioning, and securing metal parts for welding or fabrication processes Prepare work areas by setting up hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments Support welding operations by holding or positioning components during welding procedures Measure materials using shop math, measuring instruments, and fabrication shop standards to maintain precision in cutting, fitting, and assembly Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in fabrication shops is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, measuring instruments Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining focus

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
