This is a hands-on role requiring a highly skilled individual who can work independently with minimal supervision and contribute to larger team projects when needed.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday | 5AM-3:30PM; overtime on Friday may be required
Pay:
$20 - $26 per hour DOE Key Responsibilities Fit and weld structural components and assemblies including platforms, tubing, sheet metal, plate, pipe, and enclosures Perform TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel Perform FCAW (fluxcore) welding on carbon steel Read and interpret complex blueprints and fabrication drawings Measure, cut, and fit materials using tools such as tape measures, squares, levels, band saws, and grinders Assemble both small and large weldments with minimal supervision Ensure weld quality meets specifications and company standards Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Work independently on assigned projects and collaborate with team members on larger builds Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in fitting and welding structural components Strong proficiency in: TIG welding (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum), MIG welding (carbon steel and stainless steel), FCAW / fluxcore welding (carbon steel) Proven ability to fit and assemble components independently Strong blueprint reading and layout skills Experience working with a variety of fabrication tools and measuring equipment Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment (heat conditions during summer months) Reliable transportation and consistent attendance What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and self-motivation Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Team player for larger-scale projects Stable work history (candidates with frequent job changes will not be considered) A true "go-to" welder who can hit the ground running
